Chris Harris, PA-C

Christopher Harris, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant who performs diagnostic exams and therapeutic image guided injections for Flexogenix since March 2020. He has performed these same procedures and exams since 2014. He retired from the Army out of Fort Bragg in April 2020 where he practiced in Family Medicine, Trauma Medicine, and Sports Medicine, with a strong emphasis in the Orthopedic/Sports Medicine disciplines. Chris graduated from the United States MIlitary Academy in 1997 and served 11 years as an Infantry Officer where he spent almost seven of those years in command before attending the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP), a consistently ranked top ten PA school.

Upon graduation and certification as a PA-C, Chris served an additional 11 years as an Army PA in several conventional and special operations units at the highest levels. Throughout his career, he lived abroad for five years in Korea and Germany, and deployed six times, spending four years in the combat zones of Afghanistan, Iraq, Kurdistan and Syria. He brings this unique experience and perspective to his patient care, where the patients’ welfare, comfort and progress are priorities with a deep understanding of people from many different backgrounds, cultures and traditions. Chris is a credentialed acupuncturist, and looks forward to bringing this treatment capability to Flexogenix. Additionally, Chris is exploring opportunities to volunteer in his new community of Raleigh, working with a few different organizations. He is working towards his RMSK certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
